Specifications of Wooden Tilt and Turn Windows
- 68 mm window profile is made from selected multi-layer timber (pine, larch, oak, mahogany etc.), which minimizes swelling and warping of the wooden frames;
- Hardware is made by a leading German hardware company, Siegenia-Aubi; it is known for ease in operation;
- We use well-known “Saint Gobain” low-E glass;
- Glazing units are filled with argon gas to provide an average window U value of 1.5 W (m2K);
- Sound insulation factor is 33 Db;
- Water resistance is under 600 Pa;
- Tilt and turn windows can have a triple glazing unit depending on your needs to give you maximum sound and heat insulation (84 mm profile);
- The windows have draught sealing;
- Unrestricted exit point in the event of emergency is possible;
- Our tilt and turn windows ensure a high level of security by incorporating multi-point locking hardware;
- The tilt and turn window can have aluminium capping from the outside to protect the wooden frames from long-term influence of the weather;
- Our wooden windows are fully factory-finished, micro-porous painted in any 200 RAL palette colour or varnished;
- Wooden glazing bars can be added to a window design;
- The internal wooden window board and external sills can be fitted;
- Tilt and turn windows can be perfectly matched within a modern design.
